How It Works

Four layers, evaluated independently.

Each layer answers a different question. None is allowed to collapse into another.

Section 1
Kernel

The Kernel defines market structure. It does NOT predict — it classifies.

  • Expansion
  • Compression
  • Transition
  • Cooling
  • Noise
The five structural states

Expansion — the market is extending its range with conviction. Volume and momentum align in the same direction.

Compression — the market is coiling into a tighter range. Energy is building but direction is not yet resolved.

Transition — the market is shifting from one state to another. The previous structure is breaking down.

Cooling — momentum is fading. The prior move is losing steam but hasn't reversed.

Noise — no coherent structure. The agents disagree and the market is not readable.

This is the system's only truth source.

Section 2
Consensus

Six independent models evaluate the market:

  • Technical
  • Momentum
  • Liquidity
  • Macro
  • Sentiment
  • On-chain
The six interpretation agents

Technical — reads chart patterns, support/resistance, and candle structure.

Momentum — measures velocity and acceleration of price movement.

Liquidity — evaluates order flow depth and volume profile.

Macro — contextualizes within broader economic and regulatory conditions.

Sentiment — gauges market psychology and social signals.

On-chain — analyzes blockchain data for whale activity and flow patterns.

Output
  • X/6 agreement score
  • Conflict map
  • Scenario conditions

Agents vote — they do not decide truth.

Section 3
Pressure

A fast-moving signal derived from:

  • Micro candles
  • Short-term volatility
  • Percentage movement
Output
  • Pressure Score (0–100)

Pressure is informational only. It does not define market structure.

Section 4
Position

Reflects exposure context only:

  • Leverage sensitivity
  • Exposure level
  • Structural interaction

This layer is observational only. It does not influence any system logic.

A real-world example

Imagine BTC is moving in a tight range after a recent rally. Here's how each layer reads it independently:

Kernel: Kernel classifies the state as Compression — the market is coiling, not trending.

Consensus: 4 of 6 agents see a bullish breakout scenario; 2 see a false breakout. Agreement = 67%.

Pressure: Score of 72 — high micro-movement, but this is informational only. It does not define direction.

Position: If you hold a leveraged long, the compression state means your exposure is sensitive to a sudden range break.

The system never merges these into 'BTC will go up.' You see the structure, the interpretation, the pressure, and your exposure — separately.

CandleMind

A multi-layer cognitive observation system for markets. Structure, interpretation, movement and exposure — rendered as independent layers, never merged into signals.

CandleMind is not a trading system and does not provide buy/sell signals or financial advice. It is an observational framework for reading market structure. Crypto markets are highly volatile — the decision is always yours.
